A comment that is commonly heard in homeopathic circles is that T.E.E.T.H. stands for “tried everything else, try homeopathy”.

Though it can also be said that the acronym works equally well with herbalism and hypnosis. Although there may be a foundation of truth in the acronym, here at the Glasgow Complementary Medicine Centre’s homeopathy department, not everyone comes to us as a last resort because many people come to us with the comment that they come to homeopathy because when they were children, a wise grandmother or great aunt always took them to a homeopath. That’s something which they have never forgotten even into their adulthood or old age.

Homeopathy is for everyone, from the last resort person down to the family values traditionalist and it works well with the youngest children or the most elderly and frail adult. It can also be posited that Dr. Samuel Christian Hahnemann homoeopathy’s founder, also founded the first dedicated mental hospital in Europe.

On that subject, see Dr. JM Kantor’s book “Sane Asylums”. The covered the success of homoeopathy, a hundred years before psychology lost its mind. This is an erudite study of homeopathic psychiatry from the American Civil War era to 1920 by which time, the combined forces and business ambitions of Carnegie and Rockefeller had undermined and literally demolished an enlightened network of humane psychiatric medical hospitals.

So, have you tried everything? Maybe it’s time you got in touch with us – we’re sure we can help you!
