At the Complementary Medicine Centre James offers a variety of  intervensions and treatments which meet differing client needs at various levels.

As a counsellor over the last 8 years James has worked with clients on a wide range of issues : depression, stress, infertility, loss, bereavement, addiction, relationship problems, self harm and suicide. James employs both his training in integrative therapies and his own life experience to offer clients a safe and non-judgemental space to explore and resolve their issues. James offers both short and long term counselling.

He is a member of two prestigious professional Associations, and subscribes to their code of Ethics: The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP), and The Society of Holistic Practitioners (MSHP).  He is also a member of the Government approved Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).

As well as receiving clients himself, James engages in fortnightly clinical supervision demonstrating his professional commitment and accountability whilst ensuring that clients have confidence in the services he provides in the knowledge that these services are offered at the highest professional standard.
